As a continuous celebration of African American History month, this episode focuses on the Black Messiah. The anointed one or the concept of a "God Sent Black Leader" is not new. Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass, and Marcus Garvey are good examples. Now, Barack Obama is considered by many as the modern Black Messiah. Long Story Short is a weekly show focusing on African American history, current issues in the black community and the future of people of African descent around the world.
