Top 10 Bands That Should Be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (But Aren't)

On March 15th, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will induct its class of 2010. Every year there are deafening complaints from rock fans about the bands that receive this recognition, many of whom are critical favorites that didn't get much fan support, while so many legendary bands that fans actually like get passed over year after year. So this year, to mark the occasion, we at Long Live Rock took a poll in which real rock fans - not elitist New York critics - voted for the bands they wish would get inducted. On the night before the induction ceremony we will be counting down our Top 10, along with commentary from some music industry insiders, and interviews with some of the band members of our Top 10 as to how the nomination and voting process works, and why it tends to exclude popular success. We'll also be taking listener calls, so call in and celebrate or debate the bands our listeners have chosen!
