Lurlene's volunteer service is extensive, including the refit of Second Chance, Public Relations/Membership and Communications Coordinator for Professional Organizers in Canada (POC), Executive Committee Member for Girls Inc. and Chair of the Planning Committee for Girls Day Out!   

Lurlene is also a recipient of the Essential Business Impact Award.

Lurlene is a public speaker, has appeared on Rogers TV’s  Know it All, 'Local Midday' and Daytime, CHEX First Take, Radio Show 'Small Business Big Ideas' CKDO 1580 and is a published writer of several "organizing tips" in magazines and her own personal blog.
