We have to be responsible for ourselves people always want to blame others for their well-being but we have to look out for ourselves because not everyone is going to have you best interest at heart.

Speaking of HPV, they did a study on this immunization drug for HPV, and they pose a lot of questions about its effectiveness. The question was: Does the drug company SAY that women should have it because it REALLY protects them or does the drug company just say that so that they can MAKE money? Studies are still out on that, but it's not looking that great at the moment.

So a "jump-off" is the new term for a one-night stand?
O-N-E L-E-S-S... I wanna be one less, one less... I think it's HPV, ain't it?
8/21/2008 2:57 AM UTC
a jump off is a hook up, basically just meet and 'sex' someone. not a permanent thing...just sex...
That's sad... Gives me even more reason to keep my goodies to my Self *lol*
8/21/2008 2:55 AM UTC
What exactly is a "jump-off?"
The realer you are, the less popular you become. Nobody wants to hear the truth, be it good or bad.
8/21/2008 2:52 AM UTC
Like me... I know I'm not ready for sex 'cause... shoot, I DO blush when kissed and given all of those sweet comments *lol*
8/21/2008 2:51 AM UTC
That's so true, Miss Whoever-you-are... People know when they're ready, and if they're not ready, they shouldn't be forced.
Neny1913
Sorry, I will just listen and not be heard :)...I'll figure it out.
I have been in several relationships (and yes, I'm a slow learner and quite shy around men that I really dig) where we DIDN'T have the "sex conversation," and after a few drinks, ole dudes wanted to get down. I had to tell them at that moment that I didn't get down like that. You can imagine how he felt.
8/21/2008 2:50 AM UTC
@Neny your flash might not be working. I see all the comments right now.
8/21/2008 2:49 AM UTC
You need to have the "sex conversation" at the very beginning of the relationship. Let each other know where you stand and how you get down BEFORE SEX because complications and situations could arise later. You don't want people to think that you're leading them on.
8/21/2008 2:48 AM UTC
HO! You hit the nail on the head with that!
8/21/2008 2:47 AM UTC
How do you get the comments to show?
Tru that, Miss Whoever-you-are
8/21/2008 2:46 AM UTC
They have glow in the dark condoms?
8/21/2008 2:45 AM UTC
Lawd @ "sexual connoisseur" Can we say, uhm, promiscuous?
8/21/2008 2:44 AM UTC
EXACTLY, Mr. Whoever-you-are
8/21/2008 2:43 AM UTC
I was under the impression that she was carrying all of these condoms in her pocketbook... Still, though, I would know that just by looking in her drawer that she's... uhm... interested in sex.
EXACTLY
8/21/2008 2:42 AM UTC
That would deter the man from thinking that she's a whore... Instead, he would think, "Wow, she's prepared."
8/21/2008 2:41 AM UTC
What she should do beforehand, before sex, is ask the man what brand/kind of condoms he uses and then bring a couple of them with her.
8/21/2008 2:40 AM UTC
But if she pulls out a whole box, then there's a problem...
Maybe not a "line," but a couple should be okay...
8/21/2008 2:39 AM UTC
thanks 4 the clarification!
8/21/2008 2:37 AM UTC
Great topic!
8/21/2008 2:36 AM UTC
Celibacy is no sex/no marriage and abstinence is abstaining from a certain thing for a certain period of time. At this moment, I am celibate with the hopes that one day I will be married. Once married, however, I may be abstinent one night and sexually intimate with my husband the next. That's what *I* think celibacy/abstinence is.
8/21/2008 2:35 AM UTC
very true
8/21/2008 2:33 AM UTC
Suffice it to say, there aren't many of "us" around *lol*
Masturbation is a form of fornication...
8/21/2008 2:32 AM UTC
Safe-sex = celibacy/abstinent... That's right, no sexual contact. And it's a great life, thank you very much. I've been celibate for 8 years, and I thank God for it!
abstaining and being celibate is different
8/21/2008 2:30 AM UTC
You shouldn't have to worri about condoms if you are celibate or abstinent... but hey, that's just me.
8/21/2008 2:29 AM UTC
Blessings. I made it! Whew... Now I'm ready to listen to a good show. Peace within and God bless you, Loves.
8/21/2008 2:27 AM UTC
thanks for pointing that out.
I would rather pay money for an expensive condom and risk dollars than risk my life.
8/21/2008 2:25 AM UTC
Sheep skin is available.
There are special lubes for condoms. You can use most flavored oils and most water-based lubes on latex condoms.
8/21/2008 2:21 AM UTC
There are condoms that are non-latex that is not an excuse.
8/21/2008 1:39 AM UTC
Let's Do This!!!!!!!!!!
8/21/2008 12:09 AM UTC
I am so sorry to hear that. It can get that serious. Believe me I know it! I've had friends who've lived it.

I was in a monogamous relationship and found out that he cheated 8 of the 10 years that we was together and contracted a sexually transmitted disease. No glove no love for me. That was one time too many.
