The Queen of All Media has got it all: a nationally syndicated TV talk show, best-selling books, Radio Hall of Fame honors, her own jewelry line and, between hubby “Big Kev” Hunter and son “Lil Kev,” a busy family life. So how does she keep it all together? “With a lot of cooperation from big Kevin and little Kevin. Our son is in fourth grade now, he’s nine years old. And I was just talking to my husband—his office is across the hall from mine here at the TV studio—and I said, ‘What are we going to have to dinner tonight?’” Wendy Williams tells host Ceslie Armstrong. “I was going to shop at Costco, maybe. I want to know why you did not eat yesterday’s dinner. I made cube steaks and a little asparagus. He said, ‘I just wasn’t in the mood.’ I said, ‘What about the night before?’—I made sloppy Joe’s—‘What was the problem there?’ He said, ‘You put in too much garlic.’ Well, you know what? Last night we went out after the VMAs. And I hadn’t gotten much sleep the night before so I said, ‘I don’t want to stay at the restaurant. Can we agree on take-out?’ He said, ‘Yes, there’s this great place up the street that makes great teriyaki.’ The point is, he has learned to cooperate.”
