I help children significantly improve their academic performance by helping them find the best version of themselves.

I am an academic coach who has worked with children in many capacities for over 35 years.  I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Education (MAED) from the University of Southern California, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from California State University, Hayward, and a Life Coaching Certificate from CoachU University. I have attended countless workshops and read hundreds of books and I am expertly educated in self-growth.  I also studied under my mentor, a master Waldorf teacher, for almost ten years.

My education aside, what makes me truly effective with troubled children is that my heart is open. This very thing is my secret weapon.  Also, I am driven and consumed with the need to help children who are dealt with difficulties in academia and other areas of their lives because as a child I too experienced painful challenges.  I was an academic failure, and my childhood was overpowered with feelings of shame, confusion, and low self-esteem.  This feeling affected me powerfully for far too long.

As soon as I was old enough to know that I can, I studied everything I could get my hands on to feed my need to understand what happened to me as a child.  Not only did I go through therapy myself, but also read everything and anything that related to learning, self-improving and the ability to succeed as well as about lives of many who defeated terrible challenges to succeed in their lives.
