TOPIC: Reflections of the Year 2016.  Hard to believe the year is quickly coming to a close.  Let's pause and consider what lessons, blessings & changes do we take with us into 2017?  What helps to move you toward living a more full life?

GUEST BIO: COL (Retired) Curtis Taylor is 1st, a “Man of God;”  2nd a family man - grateful to be husband of Abigail Taylor, with three adult sons, daughters in law & five beautiful grandchildren; 3rd he’s a Musician Extraordinaire;” & 4th he's a Retired Army Officer & Govt Contractor/Corporate Executive.  COL Taylor grew up in South Carolina .  He is the first African American to earn a Master of Music Degree from the prestigious Cornell University School of Music, Ithaca, New York in 1974.  His Thesis on the music of Jazz Legend – Duke Ellington was published by the Cornell University Press, & later developed into a full Broadway Musical entitled “The Cotton Club Review” performed by theater groups in the US & Europe!

An accomplished pianist, vocalist,& music arranger, COL Taylor is Director of Music & Worship at Antioch Baptist Church, Fairfax Station, VA where he directs the activities of five choirs for weekly worship services and special events.  Outside of his music career & legacy, COL Taylor served in the US Army for 26 years, commanding units in the US, Europe & Korea. Today he also serves as the Executive Director of Government Contracts at the Pentagon on behalf of Advanced Systems Development, Inc.
