Ezekiel was a prophet who ministered to the Judean exiles in Babylon. His name means God will Strengthen. The son of Buzi (whose name means scorn) he was a prophet of God and a priest also. Ezekiel was taken captive to Babylon along w/ King Johoichin and 10,000 others. He was married and his wife died suddenly, but he was not allowed to mourn his loss.
