(Please read the bottom one first) in this country without the consideration of other Americans in public area who only know English, this to me is a disrespect of other only English speaking Americans.

Hi Joe, My Grandfather was born in 1876 and came to this country from a town near Naples Italy in 1899 or 1900. He came through Ellis Island in New York with his Brother Salvatore had to work a job and had to learn English. After he married and had six children even though they all knew how to speak Italian, they had to speak English at the supper table and around other Americans in public.
