"American Sniper," the Clint Eastwood-directed movie about the late Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, is the highest-grossing movie of the new year and also the most controversial. While most Americans consider Kyle to be a distinguished war hero, liberal film maker Michael Moore suggested that snipers like Kyle are "cowards." Others critics have called Kyle a racist and a sociopath. Why does the left insist on denigrating those who have made the greatest sacrifices to defend our freedoms?
