What Makes America Screwy, Ridiculous, Hated and Wonderful?

The United States of America is loved by many, hated by many, admired by many and laughed at my many. The American People are often immitated, ridiculed, made fun of and looked at is violent, arrogant, greedy and sometimes as ridiculous. More often than not, I think America and it's people are simply misunderstood. 

This week, we will focus on what makes America, America... We are looking for Great American Stories, rather good, bad, funny, horrible or heart wrenching. This week, we want real stories, from real people and we want real discussion about why some love us and why some hate us. What is good about our nation and what is bad? What needs to change and how can we change it?
