Tune in as these military leaders share strategies that can make you more effective in your area(s) of leadership. My guests are: Captain Melony Baker -Cpt. Baker is a native of Tampa, Florida. She has a Bachelors Degree in General Studies w/a concentration in Business Administration from Columbia College of Missouri in Orlando, FL where she graduated with honors. She received her commission through Officer Candidate School (OCS) and entered the Transportation Corps in 2001 as a Second Lieutenant. and Sergeant Sylvester Reid -Sergeant Reid joined the Marine Corps in 1995. While on his first tour in Hawaii, he came to know Jesus as a result of someone witnessing to him at the Post Exchange store. He married in 1999 and moved to Florida where he was still a reservist for the Marines. Shortly thereafter, he was called to serve in Iraq. During his time there, God blessed him to never have to fire at the enemy. In 2003, he joined the Army and moved to Texas where he would become part of the most deployed unit in the Army. After what he thought would be his last tour, he returned home in 2005-2006 to find that he would be getting a divorce. Something had to give. . . Sergeant Reid learned that he could not be deployed because of his health. During his time of transition, Sergeant Reid learned some ways in which God wanted him to help build the Kingdom; cultivated great relationships with his ex-wife and children; and began believing God for divine healing and early retirement from military with full benefits.
