Chris Mattes, face-off specialist for Major League Lacrosse's Florida Launch, discusses with Lacrosse Lounge host Phil Shore (Lacrosse Magazine, New England Lacrosse Journal) what it's like for him to to be a professional lacrosse player and what it's like to be a part of the Launch's inaugural season.
In just five games in 2014, Mattes already surpassed his career total in face-off attempts (he played one game for the Cannons in 2011 and six with the Outlaws in 2012). He was an All-American at Rutgers in 2011 and finished his career there winning 63.5 percent of his face-offs.
