We will be talking about the challenges in operating a small city police department.This should be very educational for the folks in the Fern Ridge/Veneta area who were wondering why Veneta can't just have their own full fledged police department like Junction City or Coburg. It will also be educational for other folks who might have questions for Chief Chase about operating a police department post-Ferguson and other high profile shootings and in light of the murder of an officer in Seaside recently.
