Whole grains are excellent for us because of the nutrients that they feed our bodies. They help us tremendously in our digestive track because they are a source of soluble and insoluble fiber that help us process and breakdown our food properly, pushing it along the digestive track.  Wheat has been pushed for ages here in America as healthy, healthy, healthy.  We have substituted our refined pasta with whole wheat pasta and it has filled the shelves... However, wheat contains a group of proteins classified as gluten, which can be difficult for the body to process, not to mention there are many people are allergic to the gluten contained in wheat.  So, what is our alternative to reaping the benefit of whole grains without necessarily depending upon wheat.  Well, that's what today's show is going to expound upon.
