Often in our society people speak of "big" sins and "Little" sins. The implication is that until sin has reached a particular "size", it has little impact or consequences. The nature of sins is not the issue, it it the violation of God's commands that matter. Furthermore, sin also has a far-reaching impact. Its ripple effect can be felt by more people than the transgressor alone. Thankfully, there is hope for us regardless of the sins we have committed. Heartfelt confession and repentance can restore us to a right relationship with God. While God hates sin, His compassion extends to all who seek forgiveness.
