Thanksgiving Dinner Is Over - But Giving Thanks Continues

The turkey's been sliced and shared, the dressing, greens, and macaroni & cheese are now stored in leftover containers in the freezer.  The mess is cleaned and the company is gone.   Whew!  It's over.   Now we can get back to "normal".  

But wait, just because Thanksgiving Dinner Is Over, we should always continue to give thanks.  Counting our blessings everyday.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 says:  "In every thing give thanks : for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

The last Thursday in November is the one day that society has designated for us to reflect on our blessings and express thanks to God.  

Let us not get sloughful.....be mindful that it is God's Will for us to GIVE THANKS in EVERYTHING!!
