Los Angeles/NYC Based Jazz Artist/Author Russel Blake has a new book, "Proverbs 31:The Virtuous Black Woman Volume 1," that is sweeping the country. "Proverbs 31: The Virtuous Black Woman Volume 1" is significantly bonded to his passion for the empowerment, support, success and edification of Women. In this writing, specifically African/Caribbean/African-American Women. Black Women represent a distinct and singular barometer of the state of our community. Historically, there acumen of nurturing and insightful acuity of wise understanding inarguably saved the race. Modern times presents a Black Woman both academically educated and morally edified. Fueling the ranks of successful entrepreneurship, Church pulpits and pews, leadership in corporate America and the Presidencies of stabilized African nations. His book speaks to Black men to acknowledge the priceless value/existence of the Black Woman, and to Black Women to assert there rights in deserving unwavering dignity and respect. On Kim Coles' G.I.F.T.S., we will be talking with Blake on how this book explores the gift in women and how each woman can see that value and express it in the way she goes about her life.
