Planned in conjunction with Indy Parks and Recreation and Indiana Sports Corp, Allstate Big Ten Good Works Day is the fourth annual community service initiative featuring Martin and local volunteers from Allstate supporting the local community ahead of the Big Ten Football Championship Game.

Martin, alongside a team of Allstate volunteers will help refurbish Indianapolis’ own Christian Park, a popular site for community gatherings and athletic events. In addition to the refurbishments, a local youth football team who uses the facilities will be surprised with new jerseys and the chance to participate in exciting football activities led by the former Big Ten fullback. In order to further give back to the Indianapolis community, Allstate will make a donation of $10,000 to Indy Parks and Recreation.

As a past Allstate AFCA Good Works Team® member, Martin will also speak to the players about the importance of building character through teamwork and community service.

Celebrating 24 years, the 2015 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team® is comprised of 22 college football players whose community service activities and selfless acts stand out among the many student-athletes participating in the sport. For more information, fans can visit ESPN.com/Allstate to read the inspirational stories of how these players continue to change their communities for the better.
