Sex, Money and Basketball: The Louisville Scandal

Katina Powell, a self-described former escort, is the catalyst of a recruiting scandal involving the basketball program at the University of Louisville. It all started with a meeting with former player and graduate assistant Andre McGee. Powell told ESPN's Outside The Lines that she and her three daughters, along with several dancers, made several transactions for money with players, recruiting sponsors and others during parties at a dorm between 2010 and 2014. She's published a book "Breaking Cardinal Rules: Basketball and the Escort Queen", and she's built all the stories in a journal. There are many questions that linger in this story. I'll try to dissect this crazy, yet totally believable, story and try to guess what the consequences will be for Louisville and head coach Rick Pitino.
