"Rape: Criminal-Tested, Politician-Approved-Pt.2-The Rapist Parent"

In continuing on with our discussion on the roles politicians play in minimizing rape as a crime and promoting the increase of occurrences...we give full attention tonight to another government-based obstruction that contributes to the continuing vicious cycle of rape--the granting of parental rights to rapists for children conceived in their crime. Arguments by pro-lifers that all life deserves protection, and 31 governors believing that rapists have parental rights completely ignore the long-term, direct and exponential damage that political interference will inflict on both the victims and the children. Some have argued that a child should not be denied love that a rapist may possibly be able to show their children. Others believe that the situational origin of conception should not obliterate the fundamental rights of the rapist to be a parent. What are your thoughts?
