LAST TRAIN OUT is an original and classic rock 'n' roll band featuring guitarist Bob Bachta (formerly of the Joe Whiting Band and Spider Murphy), singer/songwriter/ bassist Lou Kaplan, and drummer Al Macomber (both former members of Savoy Brown and Mad Jack). The band was formed in the spring of 2011 during an impromptu yet amazingly cohesive jam session. It was obvious from the outset that this c 
ombination of veterans had an undeniable synergy, and LAST TRAIN OUT was born! 
 
The new trio immediately busied themselves writing new material and learning songs by the Rolling Stones, the Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, and Eric Clapton (to name a few). Bob infused the band with his bluesy, incendiary guitar licks and classic tones in the tradition of the finest American and British rock ‘n’ roll. Lou brought his “sharp, tongue-in-cheek lyrics” (Elmore Magazine), gritty vocals, and pounding bass style to the mix, and Al underpinned the guitar and bass with his deep pocket drumming that somehow manages to be both thunderous and nuanced! 
 
LAST TRAIN OUT has now taken to the road, playing their brand of original and classic rock ‘n’ roll to packed houses and festivals throughout Central New York. The band is eager to expand their fan base throughout New York State and beyond. The energy and enthusiasm exchanged between the band and their audience is palpable, and the communal spirit they share grows with every performance!
LAST TRAIN OUT's debut CD features twelve self penned songs that perfectly capture the sound and spirit of "classic rock!"
