RR&P: Revelation of Son-ship

Have you ever wondered what it means to be a son? We live in a world where the concept of son-ship has been lost. Many men have abandoned their children and left them for others to raise. This has caused a great destruction in the family and resulted in many kids going out to fill that emptiness with something else. Some have ended up in gangs, broken relationships, jobless and on the streets. As a result, the relationship between fathers and their sons has been torn apart. In the same manner, many of us have abandoned God. Therefore our relationship with Him has been severed and due to that, we have lost our rights as sons. Jesus came to restore our son-ship back to the Father. When we accept Jesus, we are declared children of God. John 1:12: But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
