I don’t know about you, but doesn't it seem like when you think everything is going well for you all of a sudden it all comes crashing down? We are faced with problems such as marital problems, the loss of a job, financial problems, sickness and even death of loved ones. This is something that happens too to many christians and most of us are left in shock and wondering what are we supposed to do? Furthermore has God forgotten about us? The answer is no. God is still with us but He chooses not to fight all of our battles. He expects us to stand and fight on our own. Let’s take a look at an infant for example. An infant depends on his parents for nourishment, care and survival. However, as he grows older he learns to fend for himself. In the same way when we first accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, God fights most of our battles. As we become spiritually mature in the Word, He expects us to enter the battlefield and come out victorious.
