When most people think of space - what do they think of?

When you think of outer space, what do you think of? Although movie and television show images fill our minds, there is a tremendous amount of activity in space right now.  More is planned but how much will be coming from the US and how much is coming from other Nations?  China and Russia, and even Japan have been very active, while we in the USA do not currently have the capacity to get out of low earth orbit.  We'll tell you what we and what our senior panel of contributors think.
