The "Courageous Three" were fired after they complained of corruption and discrimination in the Philadelphia Police Department. After a ten year legal battle, a Federal Jury found the Philadelphia Police Department retaliated against Michael McKenna, William McKenna, and Ray Carnation, because they had complained about corruption and discrimination. The "Courageous Three" were awarded 10 million dollars by the jury. However, the presiding judge had to decide if she would declare a mistrial. After taking more than two years to make a decision, the judge did not declare a mistrial. Still, she did put a cap on the amount of money awarded to the "Courageous Three." On Thursday August 26, 2010 at 6:00 PM, the "Courageous Three" will be our guests. They will discuss this new development and their future plans.
