Message for wannabe writers from the psych survivor community

Psychiatric survivors are often interested in writing their stories, but don't know where to begin. When it comes to publishing, a naive and green survivor might easily fall for a scam. I did! Learn a basic principle. Decide what you want. If you only want to "sell books and make money," then learn good business practices. If you want to get the message across, then forget about the money and concentrate instead on your message, and communicating to your audience. You'll be happier! My experience included here in this broadcast. I learned my lesson the hard way!
