“The purpose of our lives is to be happy.” – Dalai Lama
The above is an interesting statement, considering that the Dalai Lama lives in China, in exile from Tibet, his own country. On the other hand, Ralph Waldo Emerson said something else: “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
Do you feel you have a purpose in life? While not everyone needs to have a purpose that can change the world, if we have a purpose that contributes to our own happiness we actually make a difference, because our vibrations affect the energy field in which we all live.
