The US-based 100 Mile Club® provides children with the opportunity to run or walk 100 miles at school during a single school year. This has been shown to improve children's school readiness to learn and creates better educational outcomes, and builds self-esteem, confidence and the overall health in the lives of children and others. The Club has been operating since 1992, when the Founder, special education teacher Kara Lubin, used the dream of becoming an Olympic gold medalist to inspire her hard-to-motivate students.

Join host Malcolm Anderson as he interviews Kara about the club, what motivates children to be physically active and the phenomenal growth the Club has had over the past year.
