In this episode we will be discussing how to help children cope during divorce. Divorce shatters the lives of all involved. This is especially true for children who often are not mature enough to know how to cope with the extreme emotions they are feeling. We will have two special guests: therapist Sandy McKay, Co-founder and President of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association, and Jerry Weber, host of the BlogTalkRadio show "Catholic Revolver" on the show. Learn how to better understand what your children are going through during divorce, and ways to help them better cope with their pain, confusion, and emotions. Here are some of the questions we will be addressing: What should I tell my kids about why the divorce is happening? How can I help my kids with their extreme sadness when I am feeling the same way? My kids are blaming me for the divorce, what should I do? My kids are so angry and their dad/mom, how do I help them deal with this? We will be address these and many more questions. Join us!
