The anchor of our (life) soul \ A âncora da nossa alma (vida)

Human life is a mystery full of surprises. Traveling the treacherous seas of this world, human spirits are confronted with dangers of every kind. Only with the right anchor the "human ship" is not diverted from its proper destination by currents and deadly winds. Let's talk about it.

18 That by two immutable things, in which {it was} impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
19 Which {hope} we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, {even} Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. Hebrews 7

A vida humana é um mistério cheio de surpresas. Viajando nos mares traiçoeiros deste mundo, os espíritos humanos confrontam-se com perigos de todo género. Só com a âncora certa o "navio humano" não será desviado do seu destino correcto por correntes e ventos mortíferos. Vamos falar sobre isso.

Para que por duas coisas imutáveis, nas quais é impossível que Deus minta, tenhamos a firme consolação, nós, os que pomos o nosso refúgio em reter a esperança proposta;
A qual temos como âncora da alma, segura e firme, e que penetra até ao interior do véu,
Onde Jesus, nosso precursor, entrou por nós, feito eternamente sumo sacerdote, segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque.
