14 And they said, "Some say Yochanan, the Immerser; others, Eliyahu; others Yirmeyahu, or one of the prophets. "
15 But you, Yeshua asked them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And you Kefah Shimon: "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living Elohim."
17 And Yeshua answered and said to him, "Blessed art thou, Shimon Ben
Yochanan, because it was not flesh and blood that revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
18 For I tell you that you are Kefah, and upon this rock I will build my kehila (prayer house) and the gates of Sheol not prevail against it;
19 give thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind because, on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

14 Responderam eles: “Uns dizem que é Yochanan, o Imersor; outros, Eliyahu; outros, Yirmeyahu, ou algum dos profetas.” 
15 Mas vós, perguntou-lhes Yeshua, quem dizeis que Eu sou? 
16 Respondeu-lhe Shimon Kefah: “Tu és o Mashiach, o Filho do Elohim vivo.” 
17 E respondeu Yeshua e disse-lhe: “Bendito és tu, Shimon Ben
Yochanan, porque não foi carne e sangue que to revelou, mas meu Pai, que está nos céus. 
18 Pois também eu te digo que tu és Kefah, e sobre esta pedra edificarei a minha Kehilá (casa de oração) e os portões do She’ol não prevalecerão contra ela; 
19 Dar-te-ei as chaves do Reino dos Céus; o que ligares, pois, na terra será ligado nos céus, e o que desligares na terra será desligado nos céus.
