16 Respondeu-lhe Shimon Kefah: “Tu és o Mashiach, o Filho do Elohim vivo.” 
17 E respondeu Yeshua e disse-lhe: “Bendito és tu, Shimon Ben Yochanan, porque não foi carne e sangue que to revelou, mas meu Pai, que está nos céus. 
18 Pois também eu te digo que tu és Kefah, e sobre esta pedra edificarei a minha Kehilá, e os portões do She’ol não prevalecerão contra ela; 
19 Dar-te-ei as chaves do Reino dos Céus; o que ligares, pois, na terra será ligado nos céus, e o que desligares na terra será desligado nos céus.”

17 And Yeshua answered and said to him, "Blessed art thou, Shimon Ben Yochanan, because it was not flesh and blood revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven.
18 For I tell you that you are Kefah, and upon this rock I will build my kehila, and the gates of Sheol shall not prevail against it;
19 Give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven; thou shalt bind because, on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. "
