37 Quem ama o pai ou a mãe mais do que a mim não é digno de mim; e quem ama o filho ou a filha maisdo que a mim não é digno de estar comigo no Reino dos Céus.
38 E quem não toma o seu madeiro, e não segue após mim, não é digno de
mim. Eis que escolho os que me são mais dignos; e os mais dignos são
aqueles que meu Pai celestial me concedeu. 
39 Quem achar a suavida perdê-la-á, e quem perder a sua vida por amor de mim achá-la-á.

Os "Imortais" foi o nome dado por Heródoto a uma força de elite de soldados que lutaram pelo Império Aquemênido.

The "Immortals" (from the Greek ?θ?νατοι, sometimes referred to as "Ten Thousand Immortals" or "Persian Immortals") was the name given by Herodotus to an elite force of soldiers who fought for the Achaemenid Empire. This force performed the dual role of Imperial Guard and standing army during the Persian Empire's expansion and during the Greco-Persian Wars.
