After September 11, 2001, Harold Finch built a computer system for the government that uses information gleaned from omnipresent surveillance to predict future terrorist attacks. However, Finch discovered that the computer was predicting ordinary crimes as well. The government is not interested in these results, but Finch is determined to stop the predicted crimes.

Taking a page from the hit TV show Person of Interest referenced above, Rick Shaw from Awareity.com has himself created a version of the system that Harold Finch created in an effort to stop bullying as well as school violence.

Known has TIPS, Shaw's central repository system leverages a predictive analysis model to identify potential issues before they happen.

Rick Shaw joins me today in what promises to be one of the most memorable and thought provoking segments I have ever done.
