#7 Surviving Wonderland - issues facing people with epilepsy

What do you do if you have epilepsy, particularly temporal lobe epilepsy, and your medication goes bad on you? In other words, what happens when you become drug-resistant? That’s one of the areas we’ll examine today on the big blogcast. We originally scheduled Sharon to be our guest, as she was with programs 1 and 2, but last night was a bad night. She had three seizures just after midnight, which is unusual. So, she probably will not join us. But that’s all right, because we will still look at some of the issues, and I have some excerpts from her book in search of an agent or publisher: Surviving Wonderland, my life with temporal lobe epilepsy.
