When dealing with Lymphedema it is important to address the buildup of fibrin which can lead to fibrosis and cellulitis. You can help Lymphedema by reducing fibrosis to improve circulation. Acidic protein-rich fluid can build in the tissues when the lymphatic system becomes compromised. This buildup of cellular waste and fibrin can irritate the tissues and lead to thickening of the skin. If the problem is not addressed the area can become inflamed and can become a dangerous skin infection called cellulitis. By manually improving the lymphatic system and balancing pH you can gain more control over your Lymphedema.
