You can help inflammatory bowel disease with lymphatic system detoxidfication to help reduce inflammation. Crohn's and ulcerative colitis are very different inflammatory bowel diseases. Both may present with any of the following symptoms: abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, rectal bleeding, severe internal cramps/muscle spasms in the region of the pelvis and weight loss. Anemia is the most prevalent extraintestinal complication of inflammatory bowel disease. The lymphatic system plays a large role in maintaining the health of your intestines.

There are over 200 lymph nodes and hundreds of lymph vessels in the abdomen. When the lymphatic system can't clean your intestines of cellular waste and fluid efficiently, inflammation builds in the intestines. To help inflammatory bowel disease it is important to reduce processed foods, eat more fruits, vegetables and probiotic rich fermented foods.
