Pilot

This first episode of Job Talk with Jill and Jay is our get familiar with the Blog Talk Radio switchboard and features show. The topics and content will be top notch, but we can't promise smooth operations as we are jumping right in and trying it out live for the first time. Our two main topics for our first show will be active listening which will include what it is, why it is important and exercises you can perform at home to improve your active listening skills; and "the Ladder" which is tool you can use to get a better understanding of how you are viewed by interviewers based on how you present and represent yourself to them during an interview. As always the show is co-hosted by Jay Goldberg author of the book How to Get, Keep and Be Well Paid in a Job and Jill Desena-Shook author of the book, Just Tell Me How to Get Hired! Jay developed a work readiness certification training program called the best in the United States by a member of the National Skills Standard Board. Jill is one of the top recruiters in the New York metropolitan area who has consistently sets her sales into the multi-million dollar level.
