Having been a cook/chef for more than 30 years before going into real estate and insurance I was a family man from the beginning with my fathers restaurant in San Francisco when my father got out of the Army after WWll and opened FRIDAS COFEE SHOP on 24th & Mission in San Francisco now a BART subway entrance.  As a member of several Veteran Organizatons like my father and uncles before me I am making this tribute in the kitchen for all my frriends at the Oakley Veterans, American Legion post 202 and the VFW in Antioch Sequoit post 4551, and all other posts as well.  Our show will feature quick and easy meals that will be available on my blog site with pictures of the food we will be talking about.  So have your pen and paper ready and we will also add a variety of foods, there isn't very many things I cannot cook, while I am a little slower today than when I was in the kitchen as a Broiler Chef, Suess Chef, Line Chef among my many jobs.  My favorite job of all was when I worked for Gerhardt Napa Valley Sausage Co.   yes from Napa California and a close rival was when I was with Fred Marken & Daughters Sauce Company. peanut sauce was a specialty.  We will talk about many of the foods I cooked with these companies and other dishes that are quick and easy, for example for the working mom who does not want to spend 30 or 40 minutes cooking for her family when she gets home a 5 or 10 minute meal with appeal for all.
