Shaping Artists Lives

Why should a few determine the value of art or the placement of art in our cities?  Shouldn't all the people determine the worth of a person's works?  No wonder churches have to be so wealthy they have to maintain the art they have!  What do they pay to insure the art upon their walls and alters?  What do these institutions pay to insure the works of others?  Should we revamp how art lands in the hands of the people?  

Imagine if we had art that was uplifting adorning our towns and cities!  Just imagine the shift in our thinking!
