Talk Story ('olelo Kama'ilio) is the casual yet deliberate sharing of ideas and opinions, stories and history. It's taking time out of the day to slow down and talk. This is what good friends do on a lazy Kona day, just get together and talk story. Talk Story with Jeni is a series of bi-weekly conversations. This week is about Creativity and Parenthood. Inspired by my wonderful friend, Sally Hogshead, we are going to talk about how motherhood and parenting teach us about creativity. The unpredictability of what to expect when becoming a parent speaks beautifully to what makes for a successful creative process. So many expectations and plans are set in motion upon deciding (or accidentally) becoming a parent. And of course you can’t talk about motherhood without talking a bit about balancing it all!
