Join us this week for another exciting episode with our special guest Stephen Childs,Vice President, Global Human Resources, Real Estate, & Facilities- Panasonic Automotive Systems - Peachtree City, Georgia. There has certainly been a lot of talk lately about what is wrong in the corporate world, well we want to highlight those in the business world who are doing it right, and the folks at Panasonic are doing it right. The founder of Panasonic, Konosuke Matsushita, was deeply committed to improving peoples’ lives and contributing to society. Panasonic employees are active and generous, contributing their time and effort to worthy causes such as food and clothing drives for the needy, holiday toy collection for underprivileged children, neighborhood cleanup and recycling drives, support activities for our veterans, and many more. Panasonic is also committed to securing a healthy and sustainable future for people all over the world. And being ‘green’ has been part of their mission for a long time. In fact, for the last three years, Panasonic has been recognized by Interbrand as one of the most environmentally responsible brands in the world. Jason's older brother, Stephen Childs, was recently in New York City to accept three American Business Awards. HR Department of the year, HR Team of the year and HR Executive of the year. He exemplifies the motto at Panasonic, “A Better Life, A Better World.”
