GOD IS NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, BUT THAT ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE! As Holy Week approaches, and we concentrate on the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we will span our attention after Easter Sunday to what Jesus said about Himself concerning the resurrection, His Words to His followers, or disciples, following the resurrection, and His priestly prayer in John 17, which includes us! (Schedule TBA.)

We have many names for Jesus, but this week, "Passover Week," ending for Christians with Resurrection Sunday, we think upon the name of Savior and RISEN Lord. Savior is someone who saves. Lord is someone who reigns. The Scripture says that Jesus Christ is the "lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world" and our Passover Lamb (we'll look at this). When Jesus went to the cross as the Lamb of God, slaughtered before men, He became the Savior of all men, redeeming all who would believe upon His name- the plan from the beginning. When He rose from the dead, He claimed lordship of a kingdom of the hearts of men, through the full demonstration of His power, power that can be made real in our lives as servants in His kingdom through the Holy Spirit. Let us hasten to His throne to claim our redemption and find help and mercy in our time of need, accepting the forgiveness of sins thanks to what He did on that cross! Blessed Redeemer!!! No other name, but the name of Jesus!
