Milroy, Georgia is an imaginary small town. This is the type of small town that has no chain stores or hotels. Everyone knows just about everyone in this town. This is the type of town that does not like working with big city companies. The residents of Milroy like their town the way it is. The primary source of income is farming and livestock. They always prefer to deal with someone they know. There are only two reasons to be in the town of Milroy. Either you are lost, or you belong there. Milroy is the type of town that keeps its secrets. In the various books, you will see different characters from this small town grow-up and face challenges. Some will grow-up and leave and others will prefer to stay. There are common themes in the series. Friends and family take care of each other and know all of your embarassing childhood moments, as well as your great accomplishments. If you are in trouble or danger, your never alone. Reguardless of where their dreams take them, they will always be welcomed home.
