We can avoid the financial cliff!

The fiscal cliff refers to a series of expiring tax breaks, new taxes, and spending cuts that will all take effect starting Jan. 1 unless an alternate deal is reached.  Unless the President  acts on January 1 using the power of an Executive Order, or Speaker Boehner acts before then.

Boehner should bring full debate to the House floor.  Is that not what the Founding Fathers' intent was?  Democracy?  The Speaker is acting as a dictator by not allowing the whole House, that means House Members from both parties,, to debate.  Suppression in action.  I believe if debate was allowed to occur, then between the  Democrats and the ample number of reasonable Republican, a Bill could be passed and we could avoid the CLIFF! 

I blame Speaker Boehner!
