Associate Professor Nair Rodriguez-Hornedo of the University of Michigan discusses the latest successful strategies in making co-crystals, providing firsthand examples from the University's Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. She offers her perspective on the most appropriate circumstances in which to employ co-crystalisation and talks about the optimal ways to scale up co-crystal production, finishing with her opinion on whether true solubility of co-crystals is achievable. Prof Rodriguez-Hornedo will be presenting at the Pharmaceutical Co-Crystals Conference 2010, which will take place from 27th – 29th September 2010 in Amsterdam.
