The evolution of submarine operations and requirements

The focus of underwater battlespace has shifted to issues outside the world of the submariner including unmnanned underwater vehicles, anti-submarine warfare, mine sweeping and littoral attack. This interview addresses the key challenges and opportunities for the submarine community surrounding key platform and technology developments, evolving submarine mission profiles and current threats.
