This week InspirRadio Show host,  Roberta B Fauntroy MBA MS, welcomes Dr. Carolyn Clansy Miller, PhD, CEO of Ashar Counseling and Psychological Servcies in the US Virgin Islands. Previously, Dr. Miller served as the Senior Director of Education and Pastoral Care at the 47,000-member Lakewood Church under the leadership of Pastor Joel Osteen.  Dr. Carolyn led over 1000 staff and volunteers in 16 ministries at Lakewood who annually reached more than 250,000 people per year.

Dr. Carolyn has provided consultation both nationally and internationally in her work with businesses, government, non-profits, churches, and universities. Her dynamic yet relevant and relational manner has propelled her to the national stage as a featured guest on syndicated radio and television programs such as Fox News, Texas Justice, Trinity Broadcasting Network, and The Doctor’s In.

Dr. Miller's philosophy is that no one is immune to life-challenges and sometimes  a professional is needed to guide individuals through difficult circumstances compassionately, skillfully and efficiently.  Dr. Carolyn has 20 years of experience providing individual, group, and couples therapy for children, adolescents and adults, She not only understands the many colors of pain, but she also know pathways to healing. So she has received broad-based training and has established a general practice focused on treating common conditions including depression, grief, anxiety, divorce, abuse, ADHD, marital difficulties, anger, infertility, childhood disorders, PTSD, and many others.
