Greg S. Reid is an expert in motivation and inspiration. He’s spent the last seven years encouraging corporate audiences across the country and has been called one of the most passionate speakers to come along in years. Throughout his travels, including a life-changing and affirming experience climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, he’s also had the opportunity to learn the secrets of financial success and personal fulfillment from some of the most prominent leaders today, including NASCAR president Mike Helton, Chick-fil-A founder Truitt Cathy, and Steve Forbes – wisdom that has shaped his own life and added to his wealth of knowledge within the field of personal development.

“I believe you can find opportunities in nearly any obstacle,” says Reid. “Over the years, I’ve spoken with hundreds of individuals whose determination to face their challenges head-on has brought them success in their personal lives and within the corporate world. After I completed my trek up Mt. Kilimanjaro, I spent time on a beach in Zanzibar and reflected on the advice I’ve received throughout my life and during my career as a motivational speaker.”

Reid brought together that advice in a new book called Off the Coast of Zanzibar, an exciting story about one man’s journey to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro with a team of thirteen diverse, wise individuals who offer him a variety of unique advice on topics such as business, relationships, true happiness, and generosity. Reid’s compilation of inspiration is perfect encouragement for people trying to make their way up their own personal mountains, particularly in these difficult economic times, when the journey can be difficult.
